AOL Kids and Family Coach Rosalind Wiseman is the best-selling author of 'Queen Bees and Wannabes,' a book that inspired the 2004 movie Mean Girls, both of which deal with issues of self-esteem and empowerment. Rosalind is familiar with both through her career and through volunteering. As co-founder of the Empower Program, a national violence-prevention program created in 1992, she has taught and trained thousands of students, teachers, and administrators in schools across the country for more than ten years. In addition, Rosalind serves as an advisory member of the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence and on Liz Claiborne's Love is Not Abuse Campaign.

The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the costs and consequences of partner violence at work - and getting rid of it altogether by providing information, materials and advice, as well as being dedicated to shaping policies and programs.

Since 1991, the Love is Not Abuse Campaign has been working to stop domestic violence through providing information and tools that men, women, children, teens and corporate executives can use to learn more about the issue and how to end it.The two charitable organizations associated with the campaign are the Family Violence Prevention Fund and Break the Cycle.
