    Learn to Love Shapewear

The older we get, the more we demand of our underwear. Our first layer of armor in the battle against aging has to be super-supportive -- good bras, panties, shapewear (like Spanx) and leggings. Get rid of every bra, panty and shaper that's not "good." You know we mean.

    Change is In the Hair

You've probably had every hair style imaginable, and have zeroed in on what's best for you. But don't get stuck in a hair rut. Styles change, and so does your face, so try tiny tweaks: play with the thickness of your bangs, cut new angles and layers, change your length, or switch your part.

    When Grays Debut

Color them at home with a semipermanent color in your base shade. This will darken and blend in the gray. Or, get strategically placed highlights at a salon. Once you've gone more than 50 percent gray, make an appointment at the salon -- or Nice 'N Easy -- every four to six weeks.

    Tame Those Brows

When your brows look good, it's like a face lift without the surgery. People disagree on the best way to shape your brows and remove stray hairs. Some swear by tweezing, others waxing or threading. Don't tweeze out grays; better to use a brow pencil or hair dye.

    Lose the Heavy Eyeliner

Hard and severe is so OL (old lady); soft and pretty will make you look Y&H (younger and hipper). Lose the thick eyeliner, the heavy colors, and the multi-tiered shadow. Learn to artfully smudge a thin line of pencil or liquid liner with a wash of shadow in muted tones.

    Unmask Your Foundation

You're looking to smooth wrinkles, cover blemishes and freshen your skin with foundation, not paint a wall. Use a light touch with one of the new productsthat use state-of-the-art science, including those with silicone and luminizers.

    Manage Your Wrinkles

For crow's feet and frown lines, try Botox. You could try collagen filler for smile lines. For uneven skin tones, go for a chemical peel. Lasers work for broken capillaries and lip lines. Procedures or not, always keep your skin clean, exfoliate, use a restorative like Retin-A, moisturize, and protect with sunscreen.

    Put on Pink Lipstick

Isn't a bright red lip more dramatic? Yes, but it emphasizes the circles around your eyes and makes your lips appear thinner. Succumb to the power of pink. It lightens up the mouth, which compensates for the loss of glow in our complexions, and helps plump your lips.

    Whiten Your Teeth

OL teeth are dingy, stained or yellow. Y&H teeth are white and bright. So if you teeth have become dull or discolored you have three whitening options: in-office whitening, custom whitening trays from your dentist or Crest Whitestrips Premium. Don't let your teeth give your age away.
